Surprise proposals at Garden of Gods in Southern Illinois are pure magic.

There is nothing more exciting than getting a call to do a surprise proposal at Garden of Gods in Southern Illinois. I love shooting at this location but even more so when we get to surprise a lucky couple with photos of the big question. Recently we even realized we were shooting the wrong couple and couldn’t understand why he wasn’t getting down on one knee already. It got pretty awkward when he looked angry at me for creeping on him and his girlfriend. That’s when I realized it was totally the wrong couple but they were in the exact location and time that my clients were going to be in. Haha it made for some great memories and laughter later on.
